SL is regrettably CLOSED

I am terribly sorry to all of you who have stuck with us through SL's lifetime, but I've been gone... out of commission for serious reasons that I don't really want to discuss, and now that I've come back, I don't really have the time or energy to really get back into the roleplay. The site just seems too manual to me, and difficult to manage with only one or two staff, plus I really don't like passing over a site to others I don't personally know. I really hope you all can understand -- I am really sorry. :'(

There are other options though...
I have a friend, who's become interested in starting a Horse RPG. She's a pretty good writer and RPer herself. I can post the link up here, whenever she's done if you all would like to try her site, but regrettably, I'm shutting SL down. I know I just don't have the time or motivation to really keep the site clean and healthy, and I'm sure Mack doesn't have that kind of time either.
Again, to all of my loyal members. I am truly, sincerely sorry.

Sincerely Yours,
Promise Broken

Season
The season is late Fall

Current Weather/Climate
Fall is in its last swing, and those cool chilly breezes that were a relatively comfortable transition from summer are beginning to fade. Cold winds are sweeping down from the North, and now is probably the time to start preparing your facilities for winter.
Rain is now a wishful memory. If it does rain, it is usually cold and occasionally often times mixed with sleet. There's promise of a hard winter ahead, and therefore flurries are more common than rain. However, at the moment, the skies have been relatively clear with only a few scattered moments of precipitation.
Highs of 45 possible during the day - Lows during the night rest around 28 degrees.

Breeding/Foaling Statistics
Breeding: No -- Mares usually come into heat in the summer or winter. However, now that it is getting late into fall, you can probably begin to make breeding preparations if you wish.

Foaling: Yes -- If your mare was bred in the fall of last year, you can probably expect her to breed now. However, now that it is later on in the season, if she has not birthed yet... you may want to look into why she hasn't yet.
